Booking and Payment Terms
To secure your booking, a 50% deposit of the rental fee is required within 24 hours. The remaining balance is due 14 days before check-in and can be paid directly to the property owner or to us.
Winter Promotion – Terms and Conditions
Promotion Period: The winter promotion is valid for bookings made between 01 May 2025 and 31 August 2025, excluding the long weekend of 16 June 2025.
Eligibility: Discounts and one-night fee specials apply only to selected houses and are subject to availability. Guests can select either the discount or the one-night fee special, but not both.
- Exclusions: Loyalty member vouchers and other promotional offers cannot be combined with this promotion.
Cancellation Policy: Standard cancellation terms apply.
Cancellation and Booking Changes: No refunds or adjustments will be made for promotional bookings.
Modification of Promotion: Dwarskersbos Accommodation reserves the right to modify or cancel the promotion at any time without prior notice.

Cancellation Policy
Please note that cancellations must be made in writing. It’s essential to review the specific cancellation policy for the house you wish to book, as policies vary by property.
Check-in and Check-out
Check-in and check-out times differ by property, so please check the booking site for specific details. You’ll receive key collection instructions from the property owner/manager before arrival.
Guest Limits & Behavior
Please verify that the number of guests on your booking form is correct, as only those listed are permitted to use the property and its amenities. Exceeding the guest limit may incur additional charges or result in booking cancellation without a refund.
To respect our neighbors, loud music, excessive noise, parties, or events are not allowed. Non-compliance may lead to eviction, loss of your refund, and forfeiture of the breakage deposit.

Before booking, please take a moment to carefully review the specific rules and regulations outlined in the listing details for the property you’re interested in. This will ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all guests.
Breakage Deposit & Property Care
A security deposit may be required and will be refunded after an inspection, provided no damages are found. We reserve the right to deduct cleaning, repair, or replacement costs from the deposit if the property, furnishings, or linens are left dirty, or if items are missing or damaged.
Please ensure all dishes are washed and put away, as unwashed dishes will incur an additional fee.
Smoking is strictly prohibited. Any signs or odors of smoke may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
The breakage deposit will be refunded within 14 working days, minus any necessary deductions. If costs exceed the deposit, the booker will be responsible for the balance.
Pet Policy
If the house is pet-friendly, pets are welcome with prior approval. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds, clean up after them, and ensure they do not disturb the neighbors. When leaving the property, pets must be leashed in accordance with HOA and municipal rules. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
Liability Disclaimer and Force Majeure
The accommodation provider is not responsible for any personal injury, loss, or damage to guests or their belongings during their stay. Additionally, the accommodation provider shall not be liable for any failure to fulfil obligations due to events beyond their control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or any other unforeseen circumstances.
Amendments to Terms
The accommodation provider reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
Guests will be notified of any significant changes prior to their stay.
