Nestled in the tranquil seaside village of Dwarskersbos on South Africa’s beautiful West Coast, Die Dik Vis is a spacious, free-standing holiday home designed for memorable family getaways and relaxed coastal living. Just a short stroll from the beach and managed by Dwarskersbos Accommodation, this welcoming retreat accommodates up to 12 guests, with a maximum of 8 adults. Larger families and groups of friends will find plenty of room to unwind, while well-behaved pets are welcome by prior arrangement, ensuring no family member has to stay behind.

Designed with entertaining and comfort in mind, the home offers generous indoor and outdoor living spaces that capture the laid-back charm of the West Coast. Step through the garden gate onto the covered entertainment patio (kuierstoep), where you’ll find a long dining table and a built-in braai overlooking the ocean. Large stacker doors connect this inviting outdoor space to the main lounge, creating effortless indoor-outdoor living.

Inside, the main lounge offers comfortable seating, a Smart TV with DStv Stream, complimentary WiFi, and the option to log into your own streaming services. At the centre of the home is a fully equipped open-plan kitchen featuring an oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, and tumble dryer, providing everything needed for a comfortable self-catering stay. A second, separate lounge on the opposite side of the kitchen offers additional space for adults and children to relax, socialise, or enjoy some quiet time.

The home features five comfortable bedrooms and three bathrooms. The spacious main bedroom serves as a family suite with one double bed, two single beds, and a private en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet. The remaining four bedrooms each offer a comfortable double bed and share the home’s two additional bathrooms, making the layout ideal for larger groups.

Outside, the fully enclosed garden provides a safe environment for children and pets to play freely. A peaceful shaded corner beneath a mature tree features a picnic bench and fire pit, creating the perfect setting for slow mornings with coffee, relaxed afternoons, or evenings spent around the fire under the stars.
